1. Common Questions

Q: Can I trial Discovery before committing?

Given the complexity of each company's unique data, we do not have a free trial at this time. However we would love to show you the system in detail via a live demonstration. Please get in touch with us to get started.

2. Invoice Processing

Q: How many invoices can Discovery handle?

Discovery has been stress tested to accurately process millions of documents per month.

Q: How does Discovery count Invoices Processed?

We calculate one invoice as a single PDF file that is two pages in length, and less than 10 MB in file-size. Processing files outside this criteria may result in additional charges.

Q: How do I get vendor invoices into Discovery?

There are a few options: 
- Discovery proactively retrieves your invoices from vendor portals (when possible).
- You are provided a dedicated email address to forward invoices to as attachments.
- You may also upload files directly inside the Discovery application.
- Please contact us if you require a legacy integrations (sFTP, etc).

Q: Can I use my own invoice data extraction system?

Yes, but you may not want to once you understand how easy it is to use Discovery and how much better our Extract output is than “normal” OCR.

3. Data Management

Q: Is there a client facing side of Discovery?

Yes, Discovery allows you to control what your clients see, including reports, adding Tickets, changing Billing Information and other updates to their account within your Discovery tenant. Your clients can access this information by logging into the Client Reporting Portal.

Q: Does Discovery provide an export feature for all data?

We believe your Content is yours and if you need it upon an eventual departure from Discovery, you can retrieve it. Our standard and custom reports include your business critical information and you can retrieve that at any time. For larger tenants, you can query the Discovery API for all of your data, including copies of files.

Q: Does Discovery have an API?

Discovery has a REST-ful API based upon the JSON API spec. Learn more by reading the documentation.

Existing tenants have done amazing things with the API, including integrating Discovery's data into their back-of-house systems, automating data exchange to other systems, and other custom quality of life improvements.

Q: Is my data shared or used with other users of the system?

No. Your Content is not the product at Discovery. For more information, please read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

We offer fast email support to paid accounts and prioritized help for our highest tier customers. Discovery also includes a help widget with full access to our product documentation, complete with contextual suggestions based upon the page you are currently viewing.

Q: Can I cancel our Subscription at any time?

You may stop processing invoices through Discovery at anytime.
