Discovery is an automated software platform for waste & recycling managers and brokers. Discovery was built to unlock data lost in invoices, contracts, sensors, and other disparate data sources. By aggregating this data and applying modern machine-learning practices, Discovery empowers people and business to make the ideal operational decision in real time, informed by real data points.

We are currently recruiting for a Client Success Specialist, who is logical, overly organized - almost to a fault, a proactive thinker, confident but inquisitive, and enjoys providing caring and supportive service to the team and your clients. Responsibilities in the Client Success Specialist Role:

  • Own, manage, and optimize client experience post-sale, including onboarding and relationship management.
  • Assist clients in aligning, tracking, and achieving their desired goals and objectives.
  • Ensure client relationships are progressing in a positive and timely manner while maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Coordinate the response and resolution to challenges that our clients are facing.
  • Anticipate the needs of the client to proactively address areas of improvement, and identify opportunities for introducing our technology to provide additional value
  • Generate and deliver reports to Clients on key performance metrics and successes, and perform account reviews
  • Escalated Client Support: when the client needs to know that we're taking them seriously, or sometimes when they need to take us seriously.
  • Other tasks as assigned or required

Job Requirements

  • An extraordinary understanding of proactive client engagement and data driven account development to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to converse with clients across a variety of industries.
  • An ability to develop and lead an account strategy over the client's lifecycle.
  • A desire to be an advocate for the best solution for the client.
  • The confidence to deliver presentations to express the value being realized by the client.
  • Comfortable working from web-based CRM & sales systems, Microsoft Office products (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, OneDrive) and other modern technologies (e.g., Zoom).
  • Concise written and verbal communications.
  • 3+ years of equivalent experience in B2B account management
